Beth Josey enjoys the challenge of communicating to her audiences in different mediums, taking advantage of the visual impact that each can provide. Dramatic lino prints, oils, acrylics and drawing are all harnessed in her back catalogue. Josey's works do not convey the everyday thoughts of the everyday person. Josey shifts us all from our familiar, safe places to a confronting, mysterious underworld.
Although Beth's work refuses to be characterised by a single regimented style or medium, the relationship between the works can always be found in the figurative yet unquestionably strange nature of her subjects and compositions.
