Flying The Coop - Printmedia works from Sydney College of the Arts

For their first time ever, the 'Co-op' will come together for a group show at Hardware Gallery. Consisting of the 2nd Year cohort of Printmedia Students from Sydney College of the Arts, these aspiring artists have come together in this exhibition to demonstrate the breadth and diversity of the print medium. From the hand drawn to the digitally generated, 2D frozen images to performance works, this exhibition comprises it all. The eclectic nature reflects Kirkbride, the old mental hospital, in which these works were created. This exhibition is a journey for these students stepping out of the art school context to see what happens when they escape out of the madhouse and into the real world, 'Flying the Coop'.
